Anti-piracy company MUSO estimates that it saved the creative industries more than £500 million in revenues in 2013 – 45% of which can be attributed to the music industry.
The company – which has clients in music, film, software, live-broadcasting and e-books – tracked down over 85 million files for its clients in 2013.
That figure is up more than 100% since 2012 when MUSO uncovered 39 million files.
