A new album from electronic music giant deadmau5 will be released on September 24 via Mau5trap/Parlophone.
The LP, cheekily titled ‘> album title goes here <’, features guest vocalists such as Imogen Heap and Gerard Way, lead singer of My Chemical Romance - who appears on new single Professional Griefers.
Out on August 14, the single has already been added to the Radio 1 playlist.
All the tracks on ‘> album title goes here <’ are deadmau5 original productions.
They include collaborations with ‘Animal Rights’ co-producer Wolfgang Gartner (‘Channel 42’) and vocalist Chris James (‘The Veldt’ – the track inspired by the Ray Bradbury short story); plus legendary hip-hop outfit Cypress Hill (‘Failbait’).
New tracks include the Close Encounters of the Third Kind-inspired Closer, plus There Might Be Coffee and Sleepless.
Many of the tracks have been available on deadmau5’s SoundCloud as rough edits.
deadmau5 is set to perform at Creamfields in Cheshire (August 26th) and has been confirmed on the bill for this year’s iTunes Festival (September 9th).
‘> album title goes here <’ is available to pre-order from August 14.
