U2's new song Invisible has raised more than £1.9m for (RED) in 36 hours, by being downloaded free by over 3 million people around the world.
For every download, Bank of America paid $1 to the Global Fund to fight Aids, TB and Malaria totalling 3,138,470 and surpassing the original pledge of $2m.
As a result of the target being hit, Invisible has now been available to purchase on iTunes for 99p with all proceeds going to the Global Fund.
