CSC Media Group - parent of The Vault - has launched a new social media-driven music channel.

BuzMuzik enables viewers to control the music playlist and to instantly see their messages, photos and shout outs appear on TV, using Facebook, Twitter and SMS.

Alex Herron, interactive producer at CSC Media said: “There has been numerous music request shows in the past, but nothing like this has ever been done before.

“We’re really excited about BuzMuzik and believe the channel represents the future of music television. The back-end technology that our in-house team has developed for BuzMuzik has helped establish us as one of the industry’s most innovate producers of music TV programming and has given us the edge over the competition.”

In the near future, CSC Media will be rolling out additional features for BuzMuzik, including live Twitter interviews with artists, where viewers can tweet their questions, see their messages on screen and get a live, on-air response.

CSC Media Group owns and operates seven music TV channels in the UK across Sky Digital and Freesat, including the Chart Show TV, Flava, The Vault, Bliss TV, Dance Nation and Scuzz.
