Australian indie trade body GM resigns

Nick O’Byrne has resigned from his position as general manager of the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) to focus on his other music projects. 

O’Byrne was previously program manager of AIR, before taking over day-to-day activities following CEO Stuart Watters’ departure in 2009. AIR as a trade body also publishes the Jagermeister Independent Music Charts and runs the annual AIR Awards in Melbourne. 

O’Byrne’s last day will be June 30, although he will stay on in a consultant role ...
