NME has appointed Rhian Daly as assistant reviews editor.

Daly has worked for the music magazine on a freelance contract for over two years, contributing album reviews, live reviews, ones to watch pieces, general features and live reviews.

She also contributes to The Fly and music blog Abeano and has previously held positions at Festival Republic as a news reporter and writer for Virtual Festivals.
