NME editor Mike Williams has announced Eve Barlow as the magazine’s new deputy editor.
Williams revealed the new hire over Twitter saying, “Horray! I've just hired a new Deputy Editor for @NME ! It's @Eve_Barlow”
Barlow starts at NME in a month having previously worked at Q and Mojo as well as Empire magazine.
Her appointment comes almost three months after Mike Williams replaced former NME editor Krissi Murison at the helm of the mag.
Other recent hires at the brand include Lucy Jones who joined NME.com as deputy editor in June.
