O2 in talks to partner with artists for exclusive concert footage

O2 is in “complicated” discussions with artists and record labels to secure content deals to offer exclusive concert footage, expanding its presence in the music market.

The mobile operator, which already sponsors the O2 Arena and Academy music venues across the UK, is keen to maintain its users by offering them more reasons to use their services, rather than just offering more services such as broadband, which it sold last year.
