A group of young British-Irish music acts have been confirmed to perform at the Radio 1 Teen Awards on October 7, including One Direction, Little Mix and Conor Maynard.
International country-pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is also set to perform at the event, hosted by the incoming Breakfast show DJ Nick Grimshaw.
Niall Horan from One Direction said: "It was so much fun last year and it's a great line-up.
"It's always good to be on a great bill. And obviously with the teen hero award, it's an award for people who have done amazing things, obviously it's great to be part of that as well."
The BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards celebrate teenagers who have made a difference and will also recognize celebrities from sport, entertainment and music industries.
Nominations are open for the teen hero award and submissions can be made through the Teen Awards site until September 3.
Piers Bradford, commissioning editor Radio 1, said: "Giving us the chance to celebrate some amazing young people and giving a platform to these inspiring stories is what makes Radio 1's Teen Awards such a special event."
Details regarding more performers and tickets will be announced in due course.
