Julian Bunetta, co-writer and producer of multiple One Direction hits, including Best Song Ever and Story of My Life, has signed an exclusive worldwide music publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group.
The deal with Bunetta encompasses all of his future works as well as his entire catalogue, including the aforementioned One Direction tracks, as well as multiple other cuts on the group’s upcoming album Midnight Memories, which will be released on November 25.
The album’s first single Best Song Ever reached No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has sold more than 977,000 copies in the US since its release in July. The song also became a Top 5 hit in 12 countries worldwide, while its music video has garnered over 100 million views on YouTube. The second single off the album, Story of My Life, was released on October 28 hit No.1 on iTunes in the US.

Other successful artists Bunetta has worked with include Jason Derulo, Lupe Fiasco, Leona Lewis and Olly Murs among others. Bunetta has also composed music for various film soundtracks.
