Online videos could carry age ratings in future

YouTube and other video-sharing websites could carry age ratings in future if Government proposals go ahead.

The plans are being developed by a group, led by the British Board of Film Classification, which is now working with internet service companies and media regulators to test a traffic light system.

A video rated green would be safe for all, amber if it requires parental guidance and red if it is suitable for adults only.
