ASCAP opens up its database to add licensable share information

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) has become the first US performance rights society to make publicly available its online database indicating what percentage share of public performance rights it represents. The data covers more than 10 million musical compositions in ASCAP's repertory. (Music Week)
