Pandora has hired Chris Phillips as chief product officer, serving on the company’s executive leadership team.

Phillips was most recently director of product management and user experience for Amazon Digital Music, and launched the retail giant’s music streaming service, Amazon Prime Music.

As chief product officer, Phillips will partner with CTO Chris Martin and the technology team at the radio service to develop products that deliver value to listeners, advertisers and artists.
