Pandora saw an 18% increase in listener hours year-on-year in November.
The internet radio service garnered 1.49 billion listener hours last month, up from 1.27 billion hours in November 2012.
The platform’s share of total US radio listening increased from 7.2% to 8.4%, while its active listener count was up 16% year-on-year, hitting 72.4 million at the end of last month.
Despite rising usage figures, Pandora’s losses widened as a result of increased content, sales and marketing spend as well as deals with higher royalty costs attached.
Pandora saw an increase in listener hours of 9% in October – its first full month facing competition from a newly launched iTunes Radio in the US.
