Pandora revenues and listener hours up in Q2 2014 as losses widen

Internet radio platform Pandora saw its listener hours top 5 billion in the second quarter of 2014 with revenues up 43% year-on-year, but its losses almost doubled over the period.

The company posted revenues of $218.9 million (£128.9m) in the three months ended June 30 – up from $153.4 (£90.4m) million over the same period in 2013.

Its net loss increased, however, from $6.9m (£4.1m) in Q2 2013 to $11.7m (£6.9m) in Q2 2013.
