The New Planet Rock VIP rolls out this coming Thursday (June 14) and will include bespoke programmes, unique video content and live sessions all in HD sound and free of adverts, while subscribers will have a chance to have their say about the digital radio station's playlist. There will also be competitions, special offers and what are described as unique listener opportunities.
The exclusive programming schedule will take in on Mondays Darren Redick with One Man and His Prog, Nicky Horne with The Other Side of... on Tuesdays, Bernard Doherty presenting Blues Power on Wednesdays, Rob Birnie Classic Albums on Thursdays and Paul Anthony The Playlist on Fridays.
Planet Rock CEO Malcolm Bluemel said: "The world is changing and Planet Rock has to change with it. We are asking our family of listeners to help us make that change and secure the future of their favourite radio station."
The new club will be free to trial for the first two weeks for existing members who will also get a one-month free subscription. It will then be £4.99 a month.
