Plans are on track for a new 6,000-capacity venue in Cork after the Irish Government committed €20 million towards the project.
Simon Coveney (pictured), the minister for agriculture and defence, has indicated that €12m of the required funds will come from national Government, and the balance of €8m from Cork City Council, reports Hot Press.
