POLL: Will a Friday night TV show be better for music than the recently axed T4?
The music industry is optimistic over Channel 4's proposed plans to replace music and entertainment show T4 in December with three new Friday night music shows in 2013.
T4, which launched in 1998, is currently broadcast on Channel 4 on Saturday mornings and E4 on Sunday mornings.
BPI chairman Tony Wadsworth said: "A regular, reliable, week-in week-out Friday night spot will get support from labels and will attract an audience" and AIM CEO Alison Wenham called it "great news".
