The BPI has said the launch of new high speed mobile network 4G presents a "massive opportunity for digital music" in the fight against piracy.

According to BPI CEO Geoff Taylor, if mobile operators agree to become part of the distribution chain of content - they can help monetise the consumption of said content.

Partnerships with mobile operators and services such as Spotify should give consumers less reason to go to illegal sites to get their music, but do you think 4G can significantly assist the industry's battle against piracy?
