Microsoft has said that the 30 million plus catalogue of its new streaming and download platform Xbox Music rivals that of iTunes - and it brings its own streaming and scan-and-match services to the table as well.
Users can purchase an Xbox Music Pass which costs £8.99 per month and provides unlimited, ad-free access to songs including offline caching - a free, ad-supported streaming service is available for Windows computers.
