POLL: Do you think the GCSE reforms are a step backwards for the creative industries?

POLL:The GCSE reform proposals increase pressure on pupils to study the six areas of maths, English, sciences, languages and humanities with no creative subjects.

Deborah Annetts, chief executive of the Incorporated of Society of Musicians, said the reform will "emasculate not only our world class music education system but also our entire creative economy."

The UK's creative economy is estimated as contributing up to 10% of our GDP.
