POLL: Was 2013's singles and albums sales decline down to a 'weak' release schedule?
2013 ended with the news that both album and single sales volumes were down on 2012 as the value of streaming reaches record heights.
According the BPI/Official Charts Company stats, unit sales of albums across both digital and physical formats showed a 6.4% decline to 94m.
Single sales dropped for the first time in recent history by 3.4% - with a 182.2m total over the year.
