POLL: Magazine readership figures published last week seem to paint a bleak picture for the future of consumer music titles.
Music bible NME recorded a 13.5% drop over the six month period from December 2011, with a steady downward slide of 17.6% year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Q Magazine lost 15,822 readers year-on-year in the six months to June 2012.
Earlier this year, many in the industry mourned the closure of popular (and excellent) monthly mag The Word.
