Appearing in a nude bikini while making suggestive dance moves with a foam finger alongside Blurred Lines singer Robin Thicke – it was a brave move for the former Disney star.

Sparking complaints from The Parents’ Television Council after the VMA show was rated as suitable for 14-year-olds, Cyrus' contribution has also divided the music industry.
