PonoMusic engineers unconvinced about higher-audio quality files - report

The PonoMusic store finally went live last week, just over a year after Neil Young’s high-quality audio venture became the third most funded Kickstarter project.

But some product engineers at Neil Young’s high-quality audio venture are allegedly unconvinced that the digital files offer any more value than the already available, 16 bit CD-quality files.

That’s according to sources close to the New York Post, who allege that the high-res audio is just a marketing strategy.
