PPL: 'Neighbouring rights are a very important part of the mix'

In a business all too familiar with shrinking revenue streams, it seems like international neighbouring rights payments from PPL might be the one thing the music industry can rely on.

The UK music licensing company recently announced a 6% rise in international revenues for 2014, raking in £36.4 million for performers and independent record labels.
