PPL paid out record £114m in royalties in 2013

PPL paid out over £114 million in royalties to performers and record companies in its annual June payment for the 2013 calendar year.

It’s the largest amount of the company has paid out in its 80 year history and represents a 9% growth on the previous year. Furthermore, the revenue has gone out to more members on more recordings than ever before.
