High Street fashion store Primark is to begin selling music CDs following a deal with Universal Music.
The company has not yet confirmed when it will begin the trial, which follows a successful roll-out of music-branded t-shirts in association with Universal's merchendise arm Bravado.
Primark said the venture would complement its current business as "fashion and music have always been synonymous".
The group suggested that there was currently a "natural gap in the market" for it to begin the trial.
