Prodigy and Spandau Ballet create ticket scramble, says Digital Stores

Tickets for The Prodigy's concert at Brixton Academy went on sale exclusively via the band's Digital Store-powered site at 10am yesterday, selling out within five minutes.

Meanwhile tickets for the reformed Spandau Ballet's first tour in twenty years went on sale on their official online store at 2.30pm yesterday, where they are exclusively available for 24 hours.

The London ticket allocation sold out almost immediately and has since been increased.

Digital Stores product director Simon Coates says, "We sold out of our initial allocation for Spandau Ballet's O2 show almost straight away. The response has been phenomenal, although we knew the world would be blown away by the band getting back together.

"We've been secretly planning this comeback with the band for months behind closed doors, and all the good work is paying off."
