Producer Daniel Lanois has been named creative director and chief music curator of Canadian music streaming startup Uprise.FM.
Lanois has produced the likes of U2, Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel.
The new on-demand service will feature 'rare' artist-owned live recordings that are not commercially available.
