Music industry veteran Paul King has died after suffering from cancer. He was 63.
As promoter and artist manager, King (pictured) worked with acts such as Dire Straits, Julian Cope, Level 42 and Tears For Fears through his Outlaw Artists firm.
Beginning his promoting career while a student at Brunel University in 1970, the university went on to become a key venue on the circuit, hosting shows by The Sex Pistols, The Kinks and Genesis, among others.
