Abergavenny Music, run by former opera stage manager James Joseph, was voted best classical store. The specialist shop, that has been open since 1990, carries thousands of classical, jazz and world CDs in-store, plus an extensive range of opera and ballet on DVD.

Joseph said he thinks the shop stands out because of his colleagues, eclectic stock and great coffee.
