Matador Records has hired former Partisan Records exec Shira Knishkowy as director of publicity.
Shira previously held the same role at Partisan, where she handled campaigns for artists including Sylvan Esso, Heartless Bastards, Eagulls and Deer Tick. Prior to Partisan she was a publicist at Big Hassle Media.
She joins the Matador team in New York on Monday, April 13.
