Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park attracted record 1.19m Red Button viewers

This year’s Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park saw its biggest ever audience tune in via the BBC’s Red Button earlier this month.

1.19 million viewers watched for an average of 73 minutes this time around – almost double the event’s 2013 audience, sticking around for a significantly  longer period of time.

This year’s Jeff Lynne’s ELO headlined in front of a 50,000-strong crowd. Others on the bill included Blondie, Chrissie Hynde and Billy Ocean as well as Paloma Faith ...
