The Radio Academy Awards will not be held next year with a new celebratory event set to take over.
The Radio Academy has confirmed that, while the traditional annual awards will not go ahead, The BBC, Global, Bauer, UTV, RIG and Radiocentre have all aligned to create a new event designed to celebrate the radio industry “in a dynamic and modern way”.
