Rajars: Grimshaw gains after Q1 losses

Following a plummet in listeners for Radio 1’s Breakfast Show year-on-year in Q1 2013, Nick Grimshaw has regained a few ears over the second quarter.

While Q1 Rajar figures showed Grimshaw had dropped 1.3 million listeners over the previous year since replacing Chris Moyles, Radio 1’s Breakfast Show listenership has risen from 5.78 million in the first quarter of the year to 5.89 million in Q2 2013.
