The Rdio app has been updated with Windows Phone 8 support.

Further new features include improved online playback, recommendations browsing and metro interface enhancements.

Rdio boasts on-demand access to over 18 million songs across its audio ad-free service and allows users to build digital music collections that are available online, on tablets or mobile phones, as well as offline.

Launched in August 2010, Rdio was founded by Janus Friis, the co-creator of Skype and is currently available in 17 countries.
