Rdio is launching a free, ad-supported tier in Australia that will provide users with six months of unlimited listening.
After the six-month period, the subscription offering is switched to 10-hours per month of ad-supported listening.
This development replaces an offering of free, ad-free listening that is capped and offered for one month and six months periods which, once reached, points to paid-for subscription options.
There are no plans to roll-out the ad-supported tier in other territories according to Billboard.
