Recorded music revenues up 11% YoY in Norway in 2013

Norway saw recorded music revenues of 603 million NOK (approx. £60m) in 2013 – up 11% year-on-year.

The territory saw sales of recorded music of 545 million NOK in 2012. The Norwegian IFPI has attributed the rise to the development of streaming services with the likes of Wimp, Spotify and Beat seeing income increase by 60% over the period.
