RIAA updates gold and platinum certification rules following Jay-Z's Samsung deal

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has amended its rules for gold and platinum certification following Jay-Z's Samsung deal, in which the mobile phone manufacturer purchased one million copies of his forthcoming Magna Carta Holy Grail digital album for its customers.
