Rob Wells takes top role at social start-up Crowdmix

New London-based music-focused social network Crowdmix has appointed Rob Wells to head up its North American operations.

The former Universal Music Group president of global digital business will act as the start-up's global chief commercial officer and CEO - The Americas.

The company has raised over USD $20 million of pre-launch funding from a number of private and institutional investors, and is currently in the process of raising an additional $20m-$30m by the end of 2015.
