Rockness festival 'taking a year off' in 2014

The organisers of Rockness festival have cancelled the annual event for 2014.

In a post on the company's official Facebook page, they explained that they were "taking a year off" after eight years of the Loch Ness-based festival being in operation, in part due to the World Cup and the Commonwealth Games taking place during the same period.
