Acclaimed producer, songwriter and veteran industry executive Ron Fair is being tipped to take a top role at Virgin Records in the US.

That’s according to Billboard.biz which reports the former Geffen Records and A&M chairman is in the midst of negotiations that may see him become president or chairman of Virgin.
