Round Hill Music has signed worldwide publishing deals with three US songwriters.
Their first new signing is Tatu - an upcoming singer/songwriter from Indianapolis who has written for the likes of Eve, DJ Headhunterz and The Vamps.
Second to sign with Round Hill is Marti Fredericksen. Since working with Aerosmith in the nineties, the musician has collaborated with Mötley Crüe, 3 Doors Down, Sheryl Crow, Def Leppard, Pink, Aerosmith and Carrie Underwood.
Chris Caswell is the last to join the roster - a composer, lyricist and producer who is most noted for his Grammy-nominated work as a composer for The Muppets franchise. Most recently, Caswell collaborated with Daft Punk to write two songs from their new album Random Access Memories and has composed scores for HBO's Happily Ever After and NBC's Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Round Hill Music was founded in 2011 by Josh Gruss and acquired the rights for six early Beatles songs last year.
In September, it was announced that the publisher acquired a 150-song catalogue that includes a number of hits from artists including Bruno Mars, Cee Lo Green, Katy Perry, Flo Rida, Iyaz and more.
Gruss, CEO of Round Hill, was previously a partner at investment banking firms Gruss & Co. and Bear Stearns & Co. His previous work experience at Sony, Atlantic, and Clear Channel is what drove him to invest in Round Hill Music.
