The chief executive of the Royal Opera House has called for ticketing touting to be made illegal.
The Telegraph reports Alex Beard's argument as he spoke on Radio 4's Today programme, noting how "desperately unfair" it is on audience members who experience "extraordinary" mark-ups, particularly for cheaper seats in particular at the London venue.
