Shazam-enabled Microsoft ad to premiere on X Factor

Microsoft has teamed up with Shazam in a partnership that will see its forthcoming Internet Explorer television campaign feature Shazam-enabled technology.

Viewers of the ‘Beauty of the Web’ advert, featuring the track Too Close by Island-signed act Alex Clare, can use the Shazam App to interact with the ad.

The 30- and 60-second ads  include a Shazam on-air prompt to let viewers know they can use the app to view exclusive live performances and interviews with Alex Clare as well ...
