Shennan: BBC Music Awards 'could have done with attracting a few more viewers'

BBC Music director Bob Shennan has praised this year’s BBC Music Awards as “a very good show”, but conceded that it “could have done with attracting a few more viewers”.

The event, held at Birmingham’s Genting Arena and aired at 8pm on BBC1 on December 10, attracted 2.53 million viewers, down almost 1.4m on last year’s inaugural event.
