SideOneDummy Records is a music company founded on DIY ethics, by musicians with a fiercely artist-friendly approach and a philosophy of “just making records for reasonable prices”.

The label was launched by Joe Sibb and Bill Armstrong in 1995, who, at the time, were working out of a tiny $400 a month office in LA, with the short term goals of “making rent, and buying food”.
