SiriusXM Radio has appointed George White as senior vice president of music licensing.
According to Billboard, White will oversee music licensing as well as working closely with programming and business development departments on strategic partnerships with labels and PROs.
He will also oversee royalty reporting and payment operations.
SiriusXM has been on the receiving end of lawsuits from labels including Capitol, Sony and Universal recently with disputes surrounding the payment of royalties on pre-1972 recordings played on the platform.
