The first step has been taken to create qualifications in ticketing as the UK’s Sector Skills Council is working with The Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR) to develop National Occupational Standards for the industry.

Creating the Standards will mean that those who wish to pursue a career in ticketing can be measured on their performance at work, and the knowledge and skills they need to perform effectively.
